The City of Beloit Transit System has completed development of its Transit Development Plan (TDP), which is required every five years of all Public Transit Agencies and assesses the public transportation needs of the community, and the effectiveness of its current and past route systems. This TDP was commissioned by the Stateline Area Transportation Study (SLATS) group and took an expanded look at the regional transportation needs of the Greater Beloit Stateline area. As a result of the study, BTS is proposing a completely new route system, which is outlined within the TDP.
